Dec. 1-Dec. 6 week…

December 6, 2008

I haven’t had anything real great to write about recently but here’s a little update. Monday evening I went down to my buddy TJ’s place and we made videos with their web-cam installed on their computer. That was a lot of fun!  Wednesday night my sister and I were invited to Nathan’ s for supper. Talk about a good supper… rice, ricardo ham, and tortillas. That evening James, Samuel, and I played a game of monopoly! And did some hunting on their computer. Then Friday night James  invited me for the night since my parents are gone. I went down to his place

and we roasted hotdogs and smores of a campfire. Then we went up to his house and TJ came a little later. and we played a great game of Risk. A game of world domination!

We had a lot of fun listening to Hank the Cowdog  tapes. Today it was cold and it snowed flurried for part of the day. And I down at my friend TJ’s place updating and trying to learn a song called

Mr. Bass Man… interesting! If you will come back to my site tomorrow night or Monday we might have a video of us singin’ it.  We’re having fun just hangin’!

Bro. Randall-Suprise!

November 27, 2008

If you have already read Gene’s update about the suprise birthday meal for Bro. Randall, then this is nothing new. BUT in my perspective, the meal was awesome and everything that went with it!  And let me tell you something… We have the best teacher in the world, and he deserved all of what he got that day.

Helicopter ride!!!

October 19, 2008

On my fifteenth birthday I took a helicopter ride over our place and the surrounding areas! What a thrill, it felt great lifting off, up into the air. The pilot was a guy from our church, so that was neat. We were flying pretty low and the scenery was beautiful, because of the trees turning color.

That’s right, the field trip was postponed until Monday the 20th of October instead of the 17th. Because of the rain:(

First written post on my blog!

October 16, 2008

This week has been flying by very quickly, it is Thursday evening already! I have been busy with school and schoolwork…      fun, fun, fun.

Some of the youth and fourteen-fifteen year-old guys played volleyball and basketball on Monday night, including myself. Tuesday, school during the day and nothing going in the evening…   except homework. Wednesday evening was another free evening since there was no church. Then Thursday evening there was instruction class, in which my brother and myself are a part of. And also three other young men!

Can’t wait till tomorrow, the school’s first field trip, and we are going to a certain Ivy Creek Natural Area, in which we will probably do some hiking and maybe fishing. Then after lunch the highschool class will play ball; that sounds like fun!

Our Dad and Mom are gone right now on a CAM disaster response service in Indiana, and after they are done there they will go down to Texas for a while to help out there with the Hurricane Ike victims. Their time gone is going to be approximately a month.
